Is it normal to be THIS achey and sore? The pain starts in my hips/pelvis, shoots down my legs and my knees just ACHE! I woke up quite a few times last night wanting to cry. I sleep with a pillow wedged between my legs as its the only way i can fall asleep. My back has been sore and achey on and off. Bubs is still kicking up a right storm. BH coming and going with this constant period type pain.
I've been in bed practically all day and don't feel any better.
I remember feeling this way the day before my waters broke..
I felt like that, so for me it's normal lol. Lasted a month or so, and got really intense with two weeks to go. I'd start contracting at about 5pm and wouldn't stop until morning. I got more sleep with a newborn than when I was pregnant!
Yep! I pretty much spend all my time in bed and even then I'm not comfy.
I get bad aches down my legs where they feel cold but I know they aren't. Then the cramps start! Hopping in the shower wouldn't ease it, but I do find a hot water bottle helps!
I don't have bubs moving as much as normal now, but I have been having cramping on and off for 48 hours now.
Glad to hear it's normal. After noting I'd had it easy the last couple of weeks with few aches and pains that all changed for me on the weekend - barely able to waddle along with lots of hip and sacroiliac joint discomfort. I've tried so many combinations of pillows in bed but nothing works well for more than a few hours. Almost makes me thankful I have to get up and stretch my legs to get to the toilet so often.
I have no idea if the sudden change for me is because I overdid it at prenatal yoga or if bub just decided to shift down another inch. Probably a combination I'm guessing.
I would love to say today i feel better, my legs aren't as achey and sore just feeling lots of pressure and discomfort down low and in my back. Nothing lots of rest won't help... well as much rest as a very energetic toddler can give me!
