Thinking of you. Fwiw I have had a nasty flu that started and ended with splitting headaches, sore neck dry throat, and feeling ****! if you're dehydrated, then a hit shower can play havoc on you bp.

    Hope you're ok.

    Just got back.

Blood pressure was 135/87 which normally its been around 120/60 so slightly elevated. Due to history of high BP at the end of DDs pregnancy (200/160 and there abouts) i've been told to make an antenatal appointment for wed/thurs to be checked if still around the 135/87 or higher im being induced, the OB i saw today sees no reason to try medicate when im term.

    BUT

While waiting for the OB i had a doozey contraction, went to go pee and lost my plug so an internal was done and i'm 2cms dilated and she could touch his head So either way the OB says ill be having a baby this week!!

Keep up fluids, dehydration is a mega cause for headache but Im sure you know that
Foot massage can help. Just check a map of your foot on Google 1st you don't wanna push anywhere you shouldn't.
I get headaches from my allergies that last weeks so I sympathize totally. Hope it clears soon.

    Yay for new babys coming

Best of luck LMS and Trish.

I lost my plug, was 2 cm dilated, could touch head etc, for 5 weeks . Best not to get our heart set on dilation as a predictor of onset of labour because it can stuff with our head when labour doesn't start on "plan". That said, I do hope you are holding your baby soon.

Glad your BP wasn't too worrysome. 2cm dilated is pretty normal for someone who has given birth before throughout pregnancy so try not to get too excited about the birth being imminent as you could still go over. Rest up and I hope your head is feeling better now.

Glad to hear BP is still 'in the safe zone'. Yay for show and dilation- hope labour starts and you won't have to be induced!
