Question Heavy/achey feeling in lower abdomen - 37weeks

Is anyone else experiencing this atm?

I feel very heavy in my lower abdomen and last night, for about 30min, bubs was headbutting down there or something and it absolutely killed! LOL

I was certain she was engaged some more but at my appointment this morning she is still 3/5ths (but head is nicely wedged into my pelvis). Although obs said she more then likely won't engage anymore untill labour (since it is my 2nd).

Oh my stool has been looser the past few days too, but that could be all the fruit I am eating to recover from this cold

*waves* me, me! Yep, I'm feeling very heavy in my lower abdomen too at the moment. It feels soooo uncomfortable, I'm sure the bub is going to fall out LOL! And yep at the headbutting, does it feel like a sharp knife stabbing you inside? That's what happens to me anyway, ouch!

The looser bowel movements could be a sign of labour soon, or it could just be all the fruit like you said! Time will tell and it won't be long for you I reckon! I can't wait to hear you have popped

Trish, the headbutting wasn't on my cervix as such it was a major ache in my lower abdomen (quite low) that stopped me in my tracks. It felt more like a major push and dig from bubs head iykwim.

Ah this pregnancy is so different to Kayla's LOL.

Hmmm...sounds like things are definitely happening!

I forget what I felt in the last stages in my other pregnancies so it's hard for me to compare them, I wish I'd written it down .

    Not long Nadine......

With Harry i had loose stools for about 1 week before my EDD....he came 1 day after my EDD so it was obvious signs that labour was on its way....
So my dear...sounds like your body is making way so to speak for your little one....

I also feel quite heavy in the stomach. I get the sharp pains in my cervix too, and they really hurt sometimes.
*TMI* With the whole loose stool thing, I have been experiencing this for about 2 weeks and nothing is happening I am getting stronger braxton hicks and more discharge though, so Ill stay positive and hope it leads to something soon!!

I hope something starts for you soon and best of luck!
