Question Help! Braxton Hicks - diarrhoea??

Hi guys! Hoping someone can help me out here. Ok, so from Monday night I have been having fairly regular BH.They are getting increasingly painful and coming about every 20mins. It makes me want to poo (sorry if TMI! ) each time one hits. Is this normal?? I am only 34wks today. I thought BH wasn't meant to be painful? TIA

    Belle,
Towards the end of pregnancy BH can sometimes feel a bit more 'painful'. You can call the hospital and ask the middies for some advice.

    Good Luck!

I think that a call to the hospital would be a good idea.

Thanks guys! I haven't called yet as the middy at my ob's is really stern and will probably think I'm being stupid

No such thing as a silly question - may be worth the call. Let us know what she says. GL

All that stuff can be organised if needed - just take it easy and put your feet up!

Well done for calling her...now off to bed!

    Hi guys,
Pain subsided in the arvo but has started again 9.30pm I don't know what's going on. There is so much bowel pressure and back pain. Hope I'm not in early labour Haven't lost my mucus plug or any waters yet though.
Also stressing about listeria - had some cheesecake from macca's Monday night Been very emotionally stressed for the last two days. I think I've totally lost the plot now. Sorry guys for rambling on like this. Thanks for the xox

    Belle,

i noticed you and I are due relatively around the same time. I just thought it might be comforting to tell you i am going through the same thing. It started about a couple weeks ago. Every time I had a BH it would feel almost like upset stomach and then I would a case of diarrhea. It happened at least twice a day and still does. I think it is normal. They say that women get the runs during the last bit of their pregnancies and we are 5 weeks away.

    Hope this helped.
