Has anyone else had a burning, tearing pain at the top middle of their ribs right between the BB's.. I have checked a couple of times to make sure my skin hasn't torn (that's what it feels like has happened).. I'm rubbing in sorbolene to help it stretch but that hasn't done much either... Freaking out a little cause this bub has still got quite a way to go yet.. Anyone had the same or have any ideas...
Gee, I don't know sorry! I think the heat pack sounds wise. What if you hang on all fours, does the baby move into a better position? I hope you get some answers soon xxxx
oh hun, sorry to hear your in pain i hope you feel better soon
if its hot and a burning type of feeling then do you think it could be heartburn?
but then if its painful and feels like someone has stabbed you right in the middle between your boobs, then do you think it could be gall stones?? i have had many many gall stone attacks and i now have my gall bladder out, but the pain is right in the middle of your boobs and the pain goes through to your back and its very very painful.
i am hoping that its just heartburn or something. if it gets to bad and your worried about it then maybe you should ring the hospital and have a talk to them about it, they might be able to give you some suggestions as to what it might be or what you might be able to do to help with the pain.
if you need anything please call, i am always here for you hun xxx
please let me know how you go ok, i am worried about you
*hugs*
I had it when DS had his foot stuck (for over 20hours!) under my ribs - i couldn't do anything to make it feel better I would definitely try a heat pack or a hot water bottle
I hope you feel better soon hun
Pop an ice pack or bag of peas on the top of your belly to encourage your little one to move down.
They really don't like the cold feeling so tend to move.
The good news is being that he is baby 1 for you, they tend to engage earlier (around 33 weeks) and that will automatically take the pressure off that part
I had a similar pain although mine started earlier, I had my physio work at it, but the relief only lasted a couple of hours, it was my ribs pulling appart
Unfortuately for me it didn't repair it self until after DD was born, but once she was born it was instant relief
I rubbed it, used heatpacks, anything "natural", but the pain itself it is really quite distracting as well, so it can be hard to concentrate at times.
You could perhaps try a physio or chiro and see if they can give you any ideas.
