    Hiccups, how often?

    Hi,

I'm just wondering how often you feel your bub's hiccuping? I've just realised I feel mine at least once a day, this seems quite alot.

At least I presume it's hiccups because it's always in the same spot and is like a faint slow heartbeat.

Hey, sounds like hiccups to me. I used to get them all the time with DD, maybe twice a day. And it's funny, I was told that they would more than likely continue in the big world too and they did. With this little one, I only feel them every now and again, right now actually (funny that). I would think it was so funny when other children would touch my belly when DD had the hiccups because it would really gross them out

Oh that's good to know it's common to have them regularly, I was worried I was going to give birth to a little wind bag!!

Blake hiccupped alot whilst in utero, and usually hiccups for half an hour after a feed, so it definitely carried through for us.

Hehe Darc used to get them about 5-6 times per day. Usually for about 1/2-1 hour at a time. She still to this day has once every 1-2 days.

Jambin hiccuped all the time in my belly .. usually a couple of times a day.
Now that he's been born, he still hiccups a lot ... mostly after I've finished feeding him (so about 8 times a day)!

DD had them constantly, sometimes up to three times a day.
She also had them alot for the first couple of months after birth.
DS had them alot less when I was pregnant, and he rarely got them after he was born either.
