FWIW, a first baby isn't likely to arrive without lots of warning so even if you are an hour away from your hospital you would probably be able to drive there and still have lots of time to spare.
That said why don't you go out to lunch at a nice restaurant. Once bubs arrives going to a restaurant will be a totally differant experience so it might be nice to treasure one last bub free meal out.
