If I dont go early Ill eat my hat

I swear im going to go heaps early this time. DD was a week late, DS was a week early but i reackon this one will be a few weeks early.
I told the ob this and he didnt disagree, obviously he cant comment in case i take it for gospel. kwim.

Last couple of days ive felt her moving *really* low down which i know with the others they werent so low so soon. I realise that things are more stretched and loose inside but still, if thats the case then i may go earlier because there is nothing there to hold her LOL.

Gee I hope so . From 37wks would do. Now is a bit early.
The ob said that after 34wks they wouldnt stop my labour if i happened to go super early.
I should be careful what i wish for hey, i havent even packed my bag, got a car seat for DD or bought a bed for DS so if she came now we are screwed .

Have you got plenty of sauce

I swore I'd go early with Caleb but he ended up being the most overdue I've gone - 8 days!

    Dont tell me that. Lol.
Did you both *feel* bub was really low though. Im started to feel her sit on nerves that the other two didnt do till like 37wks. The ob funnily enough has only made me make appointments up to 37wks so that suits me just fine.

I hate to say it but yep - she's even been half engaged for weeks, which is supposed to be unusual for a second bub as they don't usually engage til the eleventh hour. But alas no - not here. Bawled my little old eyes out last night and this morning cause i'm soooooooo over it....but i did it to myself cause i was so sure i'd have another premmie bub (Ella came at 34 weeks).

Hope your story can be different though Kerrie and that your little munchkin arrives at a pleasant time

Kerrie, with both girls my OB told me at 35-36wks it was very close anyday now as I had no room left & he siad my stomach was too hard no room for bubs to grow so I wouldnt make it to term!

Hmm both born bang on 41wks!!!

I'have been told this time I am likely to go over again then!!! YAY isnt that the best news ever..... NOT!

Oh god girls a bit of reassurance goes along way you know, LOl.

Nothing wrong with positive thinking though. Surely seeing as DS was 1 week early then this one will be 2 weeks earlier . positve....

Meh, they said the same to me also. My baby is big, I am measuring 42cm and midwife said it should be back around 36cm ish by now. Everyone that feels my tummy in hospital says 'wow, big baby' and I was told to expect to come around 36 weeks. then I was told I"d be induced by the end of this week due to high BP, and now I'm not as I saw a different doctor who puts me on BP medication instead. argh. I know it's better for bubs not to be induced though if BP is under control.

But here I am, no sign of anything happening soon, and I look like a whale...literally. I can barely move because my stomach ligaments and skin hurt so badly just from lying down and sitting, let alone walking around. I'm so sick of hearing "are you having twins?"

I wish they wouldn't say anything about when they thought babies would come, it would help more in the long run. Also I wish I was stopped being told I'm having a big baby, it scares me when they say that. They asked how big my biggest was, I said 8 and a half pound, and the doctor said to expect that this baby could be a good deal bigger than that. Nice thoughts about pushing that out, hey. I'm just trying to thinking calming thoughts and not stress about it because that will hold it up.

Tara i wouldnt stress to much about what they say. They cant see whats going on inside so how do they know accurately whats bub and whats placenta, fluid, blood and any other good stuff i left out.
Babys dont necessarily get bigger either as my first was 9pd 3 then my second was 7pd 12 and this one isnt going to be huge either. I think Dr's get enjoyment out of trying to scare mums and the size of their bubs.

Its the head you need to worry about not the size of the bub anyhow, thats the part that hurts the most. You will be fine .
