    Orange/concentrated urine

Sorry for tmi but for the last couple of days my wee has been red/orange like and it's freaking me out. I'm def not dehydrated, been drinking heaps of water. I was vomiting yesterday so ate less food than normal but had bfast and lunch today no dramas. I feel totally exhausted though, I had to get DH to get the car for me this morning on the way back from our walk and I think I do have some sort of sinus thing happening as my cheek bone feels bruised. But other than that I am fine! Movements have slowed but I would have had 6 kicks or rolls today still, just much less than previous.

I shouldn't be worried right? I'm just panicking over nothing?

I should add I've had acupuncture, not sure if that could bs doing the wee thing.

I think you should get checked out.

I second getting checked. Even concentrated urine is yellow, not red/ orange. It could be blood. You may have a bladder infection or something.

I agree with the PP's. Go and see your midwife and asked to get it checked.

Thanks ladies, I just don't want to waste their time. I'll talk to dh and give them a call.

I rang and they said I'm probably dehydrated from being sick yesterday and to drink
Heaps of water and see what tomorrow brings. She said just to rest but call them if I am worried.

Does it smell badly? Or no different?

Personally I would go and get checked out, it doesn't sound like you are dehydrated and as someone said your urine would be yellow, not orange or red. If you do have an infection you need to know to get treated as it can go downhill quite quickly during pregnancy.

It smells totally normal. They went through a whole heap of things on the phone so I'll just rest, drink water and see how I go.

Definatly sound like dehydration to me.
I struggle to stay hydrated during Hg vomiting and this happens to me quite frequently.

I would get it checked out. Liver problems in pregnancy (cholestasis) can also give dark orangey urine.

Can you get some rehydrating solution to put in your water? Just to help your body absorb the fluid more easily. I'd check with the pharmacist if it is ok to take during pregnancy first.

Also the acupuncture could have had an effect, it could have released some toxins in your system which are being passed out naturally through your urine.
