Are you sure they're only BH's?
I wouldn't blame you for getting checked out...

I have heard water can help though.

I feel your pain, I've been having painful ones too... To the point of being in tears at times. Even though i have had 2 c/sections, I've laboured both times - with #2 i though i was having BH, arrived for my c/s and told I was already 8cms, these BH seem much more intense..Wish i could offer some advice..I've been putting up with it, or having a shower/bath. Can you get a back rub from DH or someone?

I'm thinking it might be worth being checked out too.

Not to alarm you, but I didn't think my BH's were contractions either until I took myself in to be checked out and they told me they were.

    Hope they die down x

Thats why I was worried hun! Twins can be real cheeky like that
Make sure you get checked if your worried... even if your not!

(I only insist coz DH's cousin ignored the signs, thought it was nothing til it was too late. She was sent to Sydney to deliver her twins at 32 weeks)

I just remembered too...maybe keep track/time of them so if you do need to go visit the hospital at some point, you have it written down for them. My Ob asked me to keep time of them all so i can see if a pattern is forming and then get on to him asap. Glad to hear you got some sleep

Thanks nic I have a contraction timer app on my phone I'll have to start using it! I've heard so many cases the last few days of people thinking contractions were only BHs by the time they realized it was too late to get anywhere
