I've only had the one bub so far so couldn't comment from personal experience - I think bubs tend to come in their own time though. Will your caregivers suggest induction if you do go 'over'? Can you look into natural induction methods if it is of concern to you?
I was afraid you'd all say that. Blow!
Spose a gal can hope.
Was so wishing someone might say with some conviction that "na everything will be fine and it will come by it's due date".
Natural methods have not worked in the past.
And funnily enough each birth experience has been just like the respective childs personality.
First one was threatened with being forcably evicted and decided to come.
The next had to be forcably evicted. Yep thats her.
sigh will have to wait and see for this one.
Please please come when your ment too pleeeeeease. chuckle
I spose the only good thing about induction is we'll have some idea when the big day will be. But I kind of liked the surprise with number 1.
You never know..... Hope you're not waiting so long this time!
I've had 2 long gestations also, so would probably expect another long one if it were me
My mum had six children and there was no pattern to when we were born. A couple were up to three weeks early, some were late and I think I was on time!
oh hun I too had HG with both pregnancies to the point I had chipping flaking teeth due to the stomach acid! I feel for you! no help here as my first was induced early but my second was 15 days over and induced, I will be watching you to see what happens coz I am wondering the same thing!
