    Present ideas

One of my good friends (who will be our son's godmother) is throwing me my baby shower next Saturday.

She lives in Bunbury so getting things organised is a bit difficult for her. She's making/baking all the food and coming up next Thursday so she can have everything ready on the day.

She's such a sweetheart and took time off work to be with me when I first found out I was pregnant as my dr thought I was having a miscarriage and she has generally just been such a supportive and loving friend . And whilst doing all of this for me, she's had to deal with her partner starting a fly in/fly out job and is suffering from a pretty severe kidney infection

I want to get her something really special - as a thanks for being there/for throwing my baby shower and for generally being such a great friend - but I have absolutely no idea!!

Can anyone suggest any good ideas??

    Thanks

She sounds like a wonderful friend & she is doing this because she loves you & won't expect anything in return.

I think it would be nice to get something that you could do together - a spa treatment or somewhere special for a meal or high tea & a big bunch of flowers.

What about some girly time together for a couple of days - a nice place to stay with some little luxuries and spa/massage treatment, go and see a chick flick then have lunch somewhere really nice too. Your imagination's your limit... other than your budget... you're very lucky to have a friend like that! What a treasure

What about a nice piece of jewellery with something engraved on it? Does she have an animal, a partner or children that you could get their name engraved on it that she can keep as something sentimental or as a keep sake to look on?
