    Red face Leaking

Last night, lying on the couch watching tv, my pj shirt all of a sudden had a yukky feeling - I was LEAKING!! It was the worst feeling ever.

My silly thing to ask is that is this normal? I'm only 32wks and didn't think this happens or happened just yet. Also, if I leak now, will that mean less milk for the baby once the baby comes? Does it mean my milk will come in or has it come in and be gone by the time baby comes?? (can anyone else see that this is our first baby?)

    Hi,
It sounds like you are leaking colostrum and this is 'normal' (Although I haven't & I can't squeeze any out.) I was speaking to a new mum today who had leaked colostrum throughout her pg and her milk didn't come in until 5 days after bubs was born, but she is bf fine now. I don't think if you leak or don't leak colostrum during pg has an effect on your milk supply. If you can squeeze some out my midwife suggested freezing it to feed it to bubs in hospital........

it will have no effect on your milk supply , jooles had a great ided which i was going to suggest , which was freezing it ....

if you think its a weird feeling now wait till your in the shower and feeling full .... it sprays every where .... !! thats strange!!

i, on the other hand, have had no leaking issues at all, and that is concerning me. I have tried in shower to pull down abit i suppose, but, nope, nothing. I am hoping it doesnt mean my milk will take ages to come.

Oh the joys of pregnancy, as the othe ladies have said it will not affect your supply once bubs is born, if you are finding it a bit much try some breast pads to stop you getting wet, other than that therse not alot theat you can do until bub is born.
