Less Amniotic Fluid or oligohydramnios??

Hi all,

I would like to know your opinion on this matter. Well, Last 2 days, I went to see this doctor for a 3D ultrasound. I already 38 weeks that time and the doctor told me that I cant make it as the baby already engaged at the cervical canal. So she said again the ideal time to do the 3D ultrasound is during 27-32 weeks..there we can see the baby very clearly. Again, she said that my amniotic fluid decreasing..How could this be? I dont know..She also found out that my baby is small at 2.2 kg = 4.8 lbs. Then she made a reference letter to my hospital to induce me immediately. As she afraid my baby will drowning.

When I arrived at the hospital, I've been to the labour room and make the test where I can hear my baby's heart beep ( I dont know what they called it). I heard them very loudly and clearly. According to the graph, my baby's heart was fine and active. Means there were no problems. And they also checked my birth canal and it's still closed. I really dont understand the condition right now. it make me confused. Later, the doctor make another ultrasound to outlook my baby. yes, he got the same thoughts too that my baby is small. And he just like wonder why..i really dont understand..he should know than me right? Anyway, I will make a further check up with the hospital where I will give birth on next 2 days. And the doctor says that maybe they will make a doppler. Hmm..what is doppler??

Before let me go, the doctor advised me to make a fetal kick counts either. Till now, my baby still remain active like before. The problem now it is just the oligohydramnios and the baby small size. And why is my baby didnt grow bigger?? Sometimes Im afraid my baby didnt get enough food from me but I do increased my weight..And for your guys information, I also didnt faced any contractions or meet any signs to labour..These really make me confused and I felt terrible...

I just afraid something will happend to my baby..I hope he's fine & healthy..

Sweetie I feel he is just fine. And if they thought anything was really bad or dangerous for him they would not have let you leave that hospital.

I am going through the same worry right now and I bet you our babies come out just perfect for what they were meant to be.

I really hope so..Thanks Soul..Hhmm..I felt terrible lately since I found out that my baby small size and the low amniotic fluid.

I cant wait to make the doppler to know what really happen. As this is my first time, so I am over worried..Is there any bad things will happend to me..Mu husband said that I'm thinking too much !!

To me a doppler is just an intsrument to hear your babies heart beat.
