    Ligament pain again... arghhh.....

On the happy side, here I am in the third trimester! Yay!

About six weeks ago I had a lot of ligament pain, then it died down. Now it's flared up again. I know what to do and what causes it, I just wanted a whinge. Every time I roll over in bed or stand up or sit down, or get out of the car, or basically do anything that reminds my stomach wall how huge my uterus is getting, it *burns*. Right down my flanks. Whine. I'm carrying right out the front this time, normally I go all around. I wonder if that's why it's worse than I ever remember? Also, I was much fitter and stronger before this pregnancy thanks to cycling than I've ever been before, so everything might be a bit tighter!

I hear ya!! I'm having leg numbness this time too... it burns!! My bones are all starting to ache and hurt in the nether regions... all is starting to prepare I guess cos it's not really that much longer.

    Ligament pain

Fair enough to have a whinge - it really hurts. I got to the point where I couldn't walk for over a week (pain was right in the centre of my pelvis), then asked the midwife, and she referred me to a physiotherapist that specialised in ante-natal physio.
Was extremely useful. I ended up buying a support thing called a BellyBra - you'll find it on-line. Worked for me, and was such a relief to be able to get around again. Has been bearable since. Good luck, hope it eases off.

I'm going to see a physio anyway. It's eased off again - it seems to happen when the bub has a big growth spurt and then eases away. Makes sense I guess!

physios can be great! Try and find one that specialises in pregnancy. If they say they can't help, please find another one xx
