    Lots of pressure and pains

OK, so at 37+2 I've woken up with LOTS of pressure downstairs. More than has been there the last few mornings.
I know I've dropped a little, as my belly button is getting lower and lower.

I'm rocking the preggie waddle and just wondering if it's bub engaging? I did a google search and everything said that the pressure should be in your bottom?
Mine is a little bit, but the majority of it is in my vagina.

Getting some good tightenings and pains.

The pains don't always come with the tightenings. It's *very* period like. The pains radiate through my whole belly and down into my vagina.
This may not make sense, but I also feel some 'tingling' down there when I get the pains.
    The tightenings hurt. Alot.

Doing lots of bouncing on my fit ball as I can't really sit on the couch due to the pressure.

    Does all this sound good?
How soon after getting lots of pressure did you go into labour?

My labor started as period pain. Id maybe ring your hospital or head in for a check up. No harm in checking. Good luck

I had the pressure from 30 weeks to 40 weeks. DD was engaged for a long time, she had the most epic cone head! The ouchy BH I had for two weeks. They'd start at about 4pm and go all night every night, or if I overdid myself. I also got lots of shooting cervix pain, back pain, leg cramps...lol! What you're describing sounds a lot like my prelabour, which lasted two weeks.

Oh god, 2 weeks? Nope. Not for me!!

Been doing more bouncing and rocking on my fit ball but everything seems to have fizzed out.

    Disappointed.

I had them for a good six weeks before A made her appearance and more like 8 weeks for DD2. At least you know you can't possibly have that long!!

I had period type pain for weeks before I went into labour- bub was almost fully engaged quite early but then decided to wait until 40 plus 5.

That was me too. I just tried to relax (hard!) and not focus on it. The best thing I told myself was that I'd be going to 42 weeks. I really expected it, as uncomfy as it all was, if I worked myself up over it I would have felt so much more exhausted and defeated. Do you have a bath? I didn't with DD but that would have been a life saver.
