    Uncontrollable crying

i was just wondering if, crying, not just a few tears but hours of being upset and argueing and yelling, could effect my baby?
DH and i had a massive fight last night, it lasted quite a few hours, i was in tears for most of the time, and screaming at him for the other part of it lol. The whole time all i could think was "please dont let this hurt my baby" i would manage to calm myself down and then we'd start argueing again and it would start all over again.
Please no comments on the fighting, we dont fight often, but lately (as im sure everyone knows) its been tough, with pregnancy, and money and work and family and just everything. We're both to blame LOL we are both mature enough to stop but we are both as stubborn as each other.

I think stress generally is not terribly healthy for Mother or Baby but I am sure one night like this would not be detrimental maybe try to relax as much as possible over the coming days.

hoping it all sorted out for you

well it won't be great, but at least better than supressing the rage internally.

If you get all hotted up and your blood's racing and you're feeling really strong negative feelings then of course your baby's going to feel at least a little of that vibe, but we are who we are and you can't control every emotion. So I don't believe incidents like yours here and there are going to cause irreparable harm. Don't worry. Put it behind you.

    sounds like me an dp.
My partner popped the question over th weekend, and so i was in the best mood...
But then today we had this massive fight over the fact that i want to get married in a church...he started nit picking at everything i would say or do , and i got really angry to start with, yelling at him,...then i just started getting so upset and balling my eyes out... when he seen me start to cry he ran over to me, and hugged me saying sorry, and tried to calm me down...

    its crazy how hormones work....

Bad things happen all the time and cause a lot of stress for pregnant ladies. I cried for days when i was 38 weeks preg and my baby is just fine.

our bubs and bodies are strong!!! I completely understand the issues of being pregnant and stressed. We can be stressed in many ways e.g painting out the nursery, looking for a new rental, a sudden illness in the family... life goes on even when your preggie! for me:
with DD1 we had to find a new flat to live right at christmas time, so we packed up, left things at mums and went with them to see/stay with family 4hrs away to come back collect keys and move in just before NYE!
with DD2 we had moved state, i had no friends or family down here. We lived in a small flat, next door was a sex worker who had issues.... after her flat being kicked in, stuff stolen, dealers hanging around, cops being called.. she was evicted. then on the other side we got new neighbours who had issues, windows, car smashing later we begged our R/E to let us move into a new place after 2 awful neighbours!
with this preg i find myself getting down as DH did have a secure job with good pay until a few things came up and now we are adjusting to benefits atm. we've just been hit with all the bills for utilities.. we will survive i think i'd choose to have DH home with me over the $... its just still a bit of a shock that's all...
