    Made it to Trimester 3

Just wanted to say Hi, I am new to the site and have 2 girls aged 13 (1993) and 7 (2000). Had 2 very scarey pregnancies and now at almost 39 and DH 42 we are a adding to the family again. Never really thought that we would be having kids at this age but the girls are really excited and the next few years will be a new adventure for our family.

C/S booked in for 11 September. We are considered high risk due to preeclampsia and other complications in the past but so far so good!!! Off to the OB on Thursday so have to think lots of calming thoughts!!!

PS If you are in Perth Margo Norman and Susan Isdale at Joondalup Private Hospital are superb. Margo delivered my 7 year old and guided us through traumatic surgery at only 8 weeks pregnant, blood pressure issues to the safe delivery of our DD at 37 weeks.

We know that we are having another precious little girl. We decided not to have any screening tests but scan at 19 weeks all looked great. She is a very busy girl..lots of movement.

Anyway just wanted to say Hi to everyone and best of luck..

    Susan

    Hi Suz,

Welcome to BB and the 3rd trimester! How exciting for your family having a new addition on the way... I was 10 and an only child when my Mum had another baby and I just adored him!! I was then 12 when she had another bub and was the same with him... I am sure your daughters will be sooo excited once your next little princess is here and will be so much help!

Congratulations Suz on being in Third Trimester - that is wonderful, and I hope things continue smoothly for you. I am almost up to third trimester too and am feeling pretty excited about getting there, and also booked in for a c-section (I think Sept 20) following a previous challenging pregnancy.
Take care and enjoy the countdown to your beautiful new arrival.

Hi Suz, I imagine that with every milestone you reach that you can start to breathe a little easier. You can find all of us September girls here Belly Buddies - Due September 16th-30th #21 we'd love to have you join in with us - might help the last weeks go quicker for you.

Congrats on making the 3rd trimester. I have a good feeling and that all will be well for you.
If you want to find the september threads near where you found the 3rd trimester thread there is one called general discussion and belly budies. go into there, choose belly budies at the top and then find the date you want. there will e an early sept and late sept, and onve bubs has arrived I think the baby budies group will be for the entire month of sept, so you can get to know both due date groups!!
