Right sided flank pain - Alan/anyone??

Hi,

Twice in the last three days I have had really bad right flank pain - around the lower end of the right side of my ribs, radiating around my back a bit. Nothing I do seems to make any difference to the pain, it's really very uncomfortable and has been stopping me getting to sleep. I'm wondering if there could be something going on with my kidney on that side, as I've also had some R groin pain, and my last urine test showed some protein.

Alan - any thoughts? My next Dr's appt isn't til Wed and I hope it doesn't continue to happen, it's worse than any of the other pains I've had with pregnancy and feels quite different.
