Talking New Stuff - I'm obssessed!

I did this a bit with DD but this time I round I think I am truly obssessed! I have to have EVERY new for the birth! I think I like the idea of starting fresh in the hospital with nice new things and therefore not stressing about having something that doesn't work or is a bit old and ratty. The thing is it really shouldn't affect the birth or first few days at all but for me I feel like the more prepared I am with new things the better it will be!

So far I have got NEW:
    - 3 breastfeeding tops
    - 3 new long sleeve tops
    - 2 new PJ bottoms
    - 5 black and 2 coloured undies
    - mini shampoo/conditioner and body wash

Tomorrow I am going to buy a new hair brush and comb. I will take some clothes but plan on being comfy in PJ's at hospital. Am I mad or do you do this too? Maybe it's a new life impacting on me!

Oh and not only new things but new me - I had my nails done this week, did my toe nails tonight, am getting waxed (eyebrows and bikini) on Fri and hair cut and coloured on Sat! Too bad if bubs comes on due date or after cause will have to repeat some of the above!

I hear you, and I think it's great! When you're feeling tired and overwhelmed in those early days, a shower with some beautiful body wash and some cool pjs and fresh new clothes can tip the mental balance in your favour I think!

How about some face wipes, so you can freshen up/clean your face? (I have a stash under the bed for when I'm too lazy to wash my face at the basin.)

    I went nuts too!
Definitely the nesting hormones! well that was my excuse.

Good to get these things done while you can though because once bubs comes you might not feel like going to hairdressers/beautician
