I'm 36 and a bit weeks and for the past two or so weeks I've been waking up with night sweats. At first I put it down to hot Perth weather but even on the cool nights it happens. Anyway not really worried- just wanted to share/vent!
Yeah, I got them too particularly towards the end of each pregnancy. I learnt to sleep with only a tshirt & nickers and a sheet otherwise I'd wake up drenched!
I too have them only got them in the past few weeks not only do I sweat at night but during the day. I think its just something that happens at the end of pregnancy. I have the air con on during the day till DF tells me to turn it off but turn it back on when I need to cool down, I also have a cool face washer with me of a night time.
I got them too and then they really ramped up once bub was here, I would wake up absolutely soaking in sweat each time it was feed time. Part of the hormones I think - hope it settles down for you
Ryatha I already sleep in a very thin nightie on top of the sheets with nothing else and it still happens. It is so odd as I was always a cold blooded person and slept under a quilt even in summer.
Thanks for your feedback everyone. xo
Last night I still woke up sweaty but I fell back asleep no problems so it was my first good sleep in about two weeks (my sweats have been twinned with insomnia and a baby that does not like me lying anywhere but on my back which for obvious reasons is not a good way to lie!)
