hey everybody just a quick question i am 39+5 weeks and i have been getting really bad pain in my bottom it last for about 30 seconds or so but its so painfull its like a sharp jabbing pain?? is this normal?

sounds like your bowels??? Have you *ahem* been to the toilet lately? Sometimes the body likes to prepare for labour by making sure your system is evacuated

Hi Cassie,
Maybe it's bub bouncing on your pelvic floor. I got that pain too but it was when I went to the toilet. I asked my midwife about it and she said that bub is probably in a weird position around my bowel. if you're really worried, give your OB or midwife a call. Good luck with everything in the coming week or two ;-)
