    Not sure what to do?

Last night DF and i did the deed as i felt sorry for him lol. Apart from it being so painful and uncomfortable, everything was fine afterwards and i continuted to watch sherlock holmes in bed. After we done the deed, i went to the toilet to wee and clean myself as i always get urine infections if i dont do this. TMI - but of course as you all know you still get some leaky semen come out during the night - i had a bit of this during the movie which apart from being gross is fine!

At 4am i woke up and leant over to tell the dog to get back on his bed...and i felt some fluid come out. I walked into the loungeroom and turned the light on to have a look - it was clear watery fluid. I thought nothing of it as i have heard that the cervix can turn semen into almost water etc. So i went back to bed and thought well if it was something then ill wait and see if i get anymore signs. Nothing much happened afterwards apart from maybe a few BH which i have been geting alot lately, and i felt really funny...like sick all of a sudden - was weird and hard to explain. But i got back to sleep and that was it. Then this morning when i got up at 8.30, i stepped out of bed (well rolled!) and when i walked a few steps i had more fluid come out - watery also. I put a pad on and thought ill wait and see what happens - but nothing more has come out yet.

Im unsure if i should call the pregnancy assesment center to talk to them (i hate annoying them) as i feel its just nothing? But i have had a high liver count (level is 300 - mine is 600), and my blood pressure has been high and i have had headaches so they said they want to monitor me closely and if anything happens to call them and come in.

Im just unsure if its worth bothering them about as if it was my waters, wouldnt i be having cramps or wouldnt the fluid keep coming out?

It sounds like your waters have broken or are leaking. Best you call them to get checked out. Don't feel silly, it's what they are there for.

You don't always get contractions when your waters break. When mine did (huge gush) I didn't get any contractions for a couple of days.

Have a lie down and see what happens - apparently the head of bub can stop the trickle of waters when you're upright, but it would perhaps leak out a bit when you're lying down... and if you get some then, they'll have something to test on your pad when you go to get checked out. As for getting cramping or the starting of contractions, with DS my waters broke at home and it was a number of hours later before labour started properly, by which stage I'd been in hospital already anyway because they told me to go in as soon as my waters broke.

Btw, you're so good to be thinking of your hubby at this point - even if I go over date, I can't imagine anything more uncomfortable and annoying than doing the deed at this point lol

I have been getting a drippy feeling down there, usually in the morning. I need to wear a liner as otherwise i feel damp all day. Though if you are concerned a phone call to the clinic is not going to put anyone out. I saw my MW on Mon and she mentioned intercourse can bring on labour and I was concerned about water breaking, she said not to worry, it will probably bring labour on, an also the flow of fluid is out so infection risk is low if labour startes, it would only be of concern if labour did not start, so if you feel the d/c is getting heavier or continues, get checked out.

i know its different for everyone but when my water broke it was a pinky sorta colour and smelt like semen but stronger and sweeter.
when i was at the hospital they told me that bubs head was blocking the exit and it should slow down, it didnt, every time she moved there was another huge gush!!

Go get checked out its a simple test to find out if its ur water or not

Thanks heaps for all your advice.

Nothing has happened as of yet - so i take it it was just semen and watery cervical mucus - i have had alot of watery mucus since 33weeks.

    Hopefully bubs isnt far away!
