    pre labour signs?

    hi everyone - another question!
last preg i think i had a lot of prelabour but i didnt recognise it. i thought i had not felt anything when my ob discovered i was 3cm dialted and fully effaced...
so... after some tips on what to look for when i am in 'pre labour'. atm i am getting upper back pain, bit of cramping (like low level period pain)... had lots of energy the other day but exhausted yesterday...
what did you all feel in the lead up?

Just wanted to subscribe, I'm also thinking that I'm having pre labour things going on and possibly even some contractions... Would love to hear others experiences as well

I had pre-labour symptoms for so long, I ended up being in labour for two days and not even knowing it - just thought it was all the same pre-labour messing with my head!!
A lot of women say that they get the runs in the lead-up to the big event... I didn't, but apparently it's pretty common, so look out for *that* pleasant sign :/
With me, it was all lower-back pain, right down into my hips and tailbone, and period-like cramping pain in my stomach (which I didn't really recognise because I don't get period pain with AF so I was like 'is this what a contraction feels like?! It's nothing!').
Emotionally/otherwise, I had heaps of energy, but was really irritable - I was soooo hating on DH and DD1 just for being near me the day or so before I went into labour lol - I wasn't really tired (actually, I was pretty wired, I was out shopping and visiting friends while in labour without knowing it, I was running on adrenaline and couldn't figure out why I was so hyped), but I was just snappy, short-tempered and generally feeling *rawr* lol...
    HTH!!

I 'think' (being my first I dont know!) I could have some pre-labour things happening the past few days as well. I have been really tired, and a lot of nausea. I threw up on Saturday night, which very unusual for me. Period like cramps, sore lower back and a very sore pelvis.

I seem to have picked up a bit today, not as tired.. but still quite 'sick' in the stomach feeling..

Hmmm, mostly just popping on here to watch this thread... I'm hopeful

Nothing at all that i recognised with DD, just some period -like pains the night before.
DS1 I had BH for about 12-13 days before, the day before they were regular for about 8-9 hours but not painful...they eventually led into real labour.
    DS2 ...nothing, I was induced.

ATM, I am extremely irritable (lol.. DH would say ....so?) and all of a suddden today I can barely move, my back, pelvis & hips are SOOO sore..but I think bub is still really high, so in truth I don't think it's pre-labour...just my body cra**ing itself...

Good luck guys if this IS it!!!
