Unhappy I am so over prelabour *vent*

I am hardly getting any sleep at night, I get sharp pains in my cervix, stitch like pains in my belly, back pain and I have been getting it for weeks!! I am so over this!! And all this is while I am on Panadeine Forte!!! I am completely over it!!! I cant exactly go for a walk to ease it and I dont want to wait 9 days until induction, I want this to actually go somewhere instead of me eventually falling asleep from pure exhaustion a few hours before DH has to get up for work. I hate watching him sleep while I can't!!

I am so tempted to buy a crochet hook (coz I cant find mine) and just break my waters so that she has to come out!!

    to the crochet hook....

hopefully naughty bubba will come soon and it'll all be over, you haven't had a good run of it have you?

have you tried a warm bath at night just to relax all your muscles a bit? i hope something works out for you, or she decides to join us on the outside.

    good luck

I can't weight bear on either leg hun to get in and out, a bath is not an option (and hasn't been for about 10 weeks) but I usually have a shower at night.

Already being done!! I guess each night of it brings me closer to meeting her. Mum arrives on tomorrow night so if she decided to make all this turn into something tomorrow night then we dont have to ring friends for looking after the girls.

    aw ali!!

you have done so well - without trying to be patronising - I am so proud of you!! And I know everyone else is too.
This pregnancy has not been easy on you but you you have endured and pushed on with such grace and determination - it is inspiring!
Leah is lucky to have a mum as strong as you.

It must be so hard, but you don't have long to go now hun, not long at all and you will be holding your beautiful baby girl in your arms and everything else will melt away.

So in the meantime, we are here, I'm sending you extra strong :strength: and :Power:
I know you can do this!! Hold on honey it is almost over now!

Pre-labour is not a great feeling My pre-labours have both been incredibly frustrating . . . though I wasn't contending with the other pain that you have at the same time. I really feel for you.

I hope that your baby comes soon

You have my sympathy hun, I'm 5 weeks behind you and very uncomfortable the last few days (bub is transverse, not much fun for mum ) so can't imagine how you feel, especially since you can't sit in a nice warm bath and soak. I did that last night and it seemed to help. I know a shower's not the same

Glad your mum will be here to look after you and the girls. 'Only' 9 more sleeps to go!

Oh Ali, I can so sympathise. Weeks of pre-labour just isnt helpful at all. I was hoping to avoid that this time but I got my first real pre-labour contractions today while shopping... and it came with the excellent news that she is posterior because it felt like someone was hacking into my spine. Running off the spinning babies to try and get her anterior before she decides to get out. Guess the RLTabs are actually doing something, LOL.

All I can really say is just stay in bed and sleep as often as you can else you will be absolutely wiped out come to actual labour and you already have enough to "look forward to" with that.

Take advantage of the big boxy babysitter and don't feel guilty. I still think your ob is an .... He could end it all right now but seems hell bent on causing you as much pain and discomfort as humanly possible. Its all so very wrong.

Come on bubba - time to give your mum a break.. preferably your waters so she can give you big hugs while she recovers.

Not too much longer now. The end is in site. At least mum will be with you tomorrow. There's nothing better than mum when you're not feeling great.
