    Red face Oooh the pressure!

I was sitting on the couch, just chillaxin you know how it is... and I felt this awful pressure against my left hip (sorta towards the front yeah?) so I figured its bubs head, so I moved it out of the way a little, and then squatted in front of the couch, and OMG, the pressure to my schmagina!!! It totally felt like my lips were about to explode right outta my undies

I uh, had a feel, and omg, they felt huge!!!!! I know she's not engaged or anything like that, so I'm wondering what all the pressure is? Just the weight of her head? Or could she engage and then pop out again? None of my others have ever engaged that's all and I can't remember this pressure before..

But I'm definitely not going to be squatting in front of the couch any time soon.. lol

Hope someone comes along with an answer
In the mean time i agree you should avoid the squats lol

Urgh... I felt that pressure for about 2 weeks before having Lucinda. I definitely don't miss that! I think it is that Bub has moved down and could be starting to engage? I know when I started to feel it Lucinda was way down and just starting to engage.

I had that 'going to fall out' feeling pretty much the whole last trimester of my DD. I think it's just that your muscles aren't as strong as they once were.

No more squatting! Oh, unless you are in labour and want to get your baby out.

Baby is currently 3/5th engaged here, and I don't need to squat to get the feeling you're describing! Just sitting on the toilet produces the same thing. It's freakish! Sorta on a side note, we DTD the other night and I asked if anything felt different. The answer was no, so the weird feeling was shared only with myself! lol

    You're not alone!

Yes I remember this not comfortable at all! I was feeling this for a few weeks before bub was due, was sure she was going to come a week early & she came 1 week early!

Yep I have huge pressure sitting on the loo especially! I got a haemorrhoid, I have normal poops and never strain, I can only conclude it's from the pressure downstairs!

Yep, and if you want to feel it again, trying squatting for two hours cleaning the oven!! Same here sitting on the loo...almost feels like practice for the pushing part of labour

Ohh yeah! I know that feeling too! I have the same feeling on the loo too. Some times when I get up from the couch it feels like my schmagina is about to fall out.... Bub was engaged 2/5 at my last appoint.
    Maybe you are engaged??

I didn't really get that feeling until like 2 days before I went into labour... mainly when I was on the toilet. I kept thinking I had a massive poo coming but never did!!!
