    painkillers safe during pregnancy?

So much for a stress free 3rd trimester! I just received the wonderful news that my Bartholin's Cyst is back (wouldn't wish one of these on my worst enemy). I can barely sit or walk. The location and timing of this condition couldn't be worse as I am already so sore and swollen in my groin area.

I'm on antibiotics for the cyst and my OB told me I can take something as strong as panadeine forte if I need to. However, I can't fathom taking something that strong during pregnancy as it usually knocks me out.

Has anyone had any experience with pain killers during pregnancy. Is it really ok?

    TIA

Yeah I agree with Kim. Try the panadeine. But do be careful, as the codeine can cause constipation.

Panadeine Forte is safe. If you think it may be a little strong for you then you could take 2 panadeine or 1 panadeine forte and 1 panadol
