A friend of mine recommended I do mine by 30 weeks (as she had her little boy unexpectedly early). So I had mine ready for 30 weeks, my Bub came at 35 weeks but I was in hospital from 33 weeks so I was glad that I was prepared in plenty of time. Hopefully you will go close to your due date though. Good luck!

I didnt bother packing mine, thought I might do it at 38 weeks...bubs came at 37 weeks! It was a mad scramble to pack my bag after my waters broke at 3am. So id recommend doing it as early as you can.

I think i need to do this as well.
It is a bit hard though when some of the things you want to pack are things that you need and want to use in the mean time.

My sister was hyper-organised and had her bag packed from about 32 weeks and carried it in the car wherever she went from about 34 weeks. Then she went 10 days over so she ended up carrying her bag around for like almost two months...

I have a list of things I intend to pack though... does that count?

Seriously, I've started buying the things I need like maternity pads and will start packing soon. I think to get around the things I use every day, as you say Ali, I'll keep a list with the bag that instead of saying "clothes to wear home" it will say "tracksuit pants and comfy blue t-shirt", so if DH or mum need to pack it for me they can throw in what I need and be done with it.

I think I better start getting the stuff I need!! DH would forget everything if it wasn't packed and was left up to him, lol.

Thats what I did last time, I dont think I packed a bag til around my EDD (DS arrived after my EDD).

I will seriously have to pack one this time though - last time hospital as 5 minutes away and DH could dash home to get me things but that's not going to be the case this time.

Im not sure what I need to take, last time I barely opened the bag of what I did take..

i started packing mine around 30 weeks. It still isnt totally packed, just have a few things that I still wear to place in there.
My hospital gave me a pack which outlined all the different things I should and could take.
