hi everyone..
sorry to be a big whinge this morning, but i had the suckiest night.
On Wednesday I took myself via bus to the OB, so i had to walk a km then catch 2 buses to the dr. Then I decided I would walk around dandenong Plaza cos I have been so stir crazy at home on my own i wanted some time to get out. Somehow i managed to walk around for about 4 hours then 2 buses home and 1 km walk.
Well i ran to the loo straight away cos i was busting and when i wiped lost a large bit of brown discharge sorry TMI so had a shower and lost more, then next morning lost more. (figuring by now this is my plug)
fast forward to about 2pm yesterday when I start getting really bad tightening across my belly which are extremly painful, then about 5 pm, the lower contractions start as well.. I have an irritable uterus so it just felt the same as normal until about 7pm when i found i was having trouble breathing and talking through them. My DH started timing them and they each lasted between 1 min - 1.5 min and were 3 minutes apart for about an hour. we start panicking which then they start to slow to 6 min apart for about another hour then slowed off to 12 min apart, which they continued at for the rest of the night.
I was frequently woken up all night from them and again at 3am when diarareoh (spl?) hit. Then this morning i woke up and they are still happening but not very painful at all, just feel like normal BH now...
I just feel frustrated that all of that led to nothing. Please tell me i'm not alone.
thanks for listening![]()

to you honey. The last few weeks are definitely the worst, and you've had a nasty run, IMO. It sounds like you're really getting close to the real thing now, though. All that walking probably got your little girl sitting nice and low, and the prelabour you've had for the past while will hopefully mean a quick labour for you, once it really starts. Every contraction does something, and it sounds like your cervix might be starting to dilate now too. Having the runs is also a very common thing before real labour - your body does a good clean-out to make room for baby to pass by.

Rest up, if you can, and no doubt soon you'll have that little lady in your arms.
All the best!
