cant believe i am asking this but have only had my waters break with my 2nd at 23wks and it was a gush had a leak with 1st but cant remember what it was like had them done by midwife 3rd time
hi this is going to be a TMI post but was wondering i go to the toilet then 1/2hr later my undies are wet i have to change my undies i have a awesome pelvic floor had 1 or 2 times were i had sneeze attacks and nearly wet myself but havnt wet myself iykwim. i am worried i have a leak i have a anc appt tmw and am going to ask bout it but i was just wondering if others have experienced this. Im pretty certain im not wetting myself I am also certain i have had some sort of mucous plug loss over a few weeks is that possible. this pregnancy has been totally different to all my others
I would suggest put a pad on and see how it goes and give the hossy a call it could actually be a leak
i cant remember the smell as such but i remember that feeling of changing my undies all the time lol
they said it could be urine that is left over and comes alone when ever a muscle is moving itms?
It could be your waters leaking, but it sounds more like an increase in cervical mucous which tends to get quite watery at your stage of pregnancy. If you have a gush or feel regular contractions then it's probably worth getting checked out by a midwife though
thanks will do that i have had some like period pain but not consistent over the last week and i feel he has decreased his movements but i do feel him move itms
yeah its probably best to get checked out then ree..
just to be sure that its all good... its normal to get less movements but only to a certain point even in labour they should still move freaky i know lol
called the hosp and they didnt seem concerned was told to talk to the midwife about it tmw morning at my appt and they wonder why i dont like ringing this is the first time i have rung them and was made to feel stupid like i was nothing ill be talking about that tmw to the midwife as well sorry just a lil rant
No don't you dare apologies ree!!
How dare they talk down to you...
Your concerns are valid they aren't nonsense and if they don't like being bothered with simple questions then maybe they shouldn't be in that line of work..
Make sure you discuss this with your mw k babe...
You are not nothing you are a mum!! And you are following your mummy instincts and that's far from nothing.
Huge hugs babe xox
thanks Zaki&Amali you've made me feel better and i will wear my b**ch pants tmw cause i feel llike i havnt been listened to by a few of the Mw i have spoken to
yeah definently just let them know you are NOT happy with being treated like you should be tight lipped caus ethey think its nothing.. to you it is.. Arrggghhh some of them are real b**** and some are just gorgeous... i hope you get a real nice one tomorrow
I agree, your concerns are totally valid and they should have had you in for a fetal movement test (can't remember the name).
I had a similar issue with DD. I went to the Ob as a 'ring in' on the Friday with a leak, they told me it wasn't, I believed them, went back on the Tuesday, they said I wasn't, and they expected me to go full term if not over...my waters broke that night...3 weeks early.
Afterwards they admitted it was probably a weakening of the sack or a small tear that was leaking, and then it just caved.
You should totally wear you b*tch dacks tomorrow and let 'em have it IMO
I have the same problem. I just ended up buying some cheap liners.
My midwife also said it was increased cervical mucous, but did a swab anyway. They said they'd call me if there was anything nasty... 2 weeks later, no call, so I assume it's all good..
well i was lucky had a lovely midwife who delivered my DD2 and looked after my prem DS and remembered me told me they could be cows up in the ward not to worry about them that she would see what was happened
told me she was pretty certain it was lochea discharge(TMI) but to keep an eye on it and go back if got worse or i was worried done the LVS today and was told the same as scone will ring if they find anything oother than strep B got a whole list of questions answeed was very happy told me he is vertex in brim he has been breech transverse every other time didnt feel brushed of at all best appt ive had this whole pregnancy. at 33wks i measured 31wks this week at 36wks i measured 38 so happy about that sorry to go on but just so happy he isnt breech
i have been getting horrid chest pain on left side when i breathe in deep but she said alot of pregnant ladies get chest wall pain has anyone had that
So glad it went well, and isnt it lovely when you have a m/w from the past.. i had all of my ds's mw's while i was preg with dd and they were so excited i was having a girl lol
yeah i had it too just from the pressure inside, and that being the baby is taking up so much room and pushing everything up and to the side etc..
so yeah, so much good news and feel free to babble on anytime xoxox
SOrry I haven't had a chance to read all the post, but as someone who had a hind water leak that barely leaked I can't beleive that the midwife treated you like that. I would wear a pad tomorrow when you go for your appt and insist that they swab it while you are there to check if it is amniotic fluid. For such a simple test, I can't believe they make such a fuss...
