Pain in the.... ribs - Help?

I have the worst pain underneath my ribs - I've had this dull kind of pain since I was 10-12wks and now it's so much worse!

It's there for a minute or two, then gone for a minute then back again.. It's been happening since 1:30am last night and it's honestly frustrating! I went to bed at 10:30pm (I've been feeling very under the weather) and I was up at 1:30am, 2:10am, 2:26am, 3:01am, 3:46am, 4:21am, 4:46am, 5:50am, 6:22am and 6:53am before DHs alarm going off at 7am for work. Since the 1:30am wake up, this pain has been nonstop.

I've done housework all over the place to see if that makes it better but it basically just stays the same - I'm always in pain and it's driving me insane!
The pain is that bad that I had to txt my MIL and she came down and helped me with washing and dishes and such. Any ideas?
My MIL says it could be his foot stuck in my ribs, but she said even then when she had her two boys that it wasn't this long I honestly dunno what to do It hurts so much and I can't lay down and get comfortable!

i know that your bottom ribs separate when you're pregnant.. don't know if that can be it.

if you're worried, i'd go see your dr, especially if the pain is constant and intense...

    hope things improve xoxo

    Thanks Stevie -

Boobaloo - The pain has been constant since 1:30am and intense since then, then died down, but only slightly from 9:30am and came back to the super strong pains from about 3pm, about half an hour after my MIL left

Just an update, called the hospital where i'm having him and the labour ward is where they were going to transfer me to on the phone. They were busy, so i'm waiting for a call back from them (so i should really get off the phone)

    Hope all is well!

I often had pain like that during my pregnancy, although probably not quite as strong as you describe. For me it was all about the position of my bubs and just everything HURTING! Often at night I would sit with a warm wheat-bag laying over the bottom of my ribs to ease the ache/ pain. Hopefully its just the normal pregnancy pains for you- no fun at all, but at least not harmful.

Let us know how you are going!
