I dont think RLT can make you go into labour prematurely, it just tones your uterus so it can contract effectively (as far as I know!)

Hi ladies,i was just wandering,when i last went for my hospital appointment last week,i had a few dramas,bubs is measuring small so they hooked me up to a machine to test bubs heart and movement and they said that i was having alot of "tightenings" and if i keep having them to go up hospital but i have been taking the RLT tablets for a good few weeks now and my sister said maybe i should stop as maybe thats whats causing all the BHs and tightenings etc,anyone have any advice?id really like to keep taking it as ive heard so much good from it,surely it wouldnt make me go into labour premeturely like my sisters worried about?

I was put on RLT by my natropath last time from 12 weeks. I asked about why it's only recommended in the third tri, and she said she believed if you had gotten to 12 weeks it was fine. Before that it can be linked to miscarriage. By no means have I ever heard it cause a problem late in pregnancy. I'd say you're just getting ready to have bub!! Good luck xoxo
I think if your bub is ready to come at 36wks then your bub will come regardless of whether you were drinking RLT or not![]()
I've been taking it since 35weeks as I felt it wasn't necessary to take before then and I've had more tightenings and BH's since taking it also..... just our bodies preparing!!
