Talking What do you still love about being pregnant?

I have woken up this morning (after a terrible sleep), with a really sore pelvis, painful hips, thighs, outer upper legs etc. This has been going on for a while but seems worse this morning. I want to cheer myself up and remind myself/remember all the really good things about being pregnant so here is what I am still enjoying:

    * All the awesome baby movements and kicks
    * No real heartburn (I can eat and lie down 10 mins later!)
    * No stretch marks (yet!)
    * My acne that started at 8 weeks cleared up at 18 weeks and hasn't re-emerged
    * No one is calling yet to see if I've had the baby
    * I didn't really get m/s that was worth complaining about and haven't felt sick in the third tri (except for feeling car sick occasionally which is not even worth mentioning)
    * I am still able to work which means I am not sitting at home too much worrying about when labour will start and what will happen
    * I only had sciatic nerve pain for a few days and it seems to have disappeared again (whoohoo!!)
    * I haven't really had much unwanted advice and think I have coped quite well with the repetitive questions I do get from others
    * DP is in love with my huge belly and still wants to DTD!!!!
    * I am feeling relaxed about when Dot will make his or her appearance - the nursery seems quite organised (as much as it can be with a first baby) and I only really have to keep the house reasonably clean prior to the parents and ILs turning up after the birth
    * We have sorted out the accomm situation and both sets of parents are staying here when they come to meet Dot which is a great opportunity for them to get to know each other better (they've only met once before now because DP and I come from different cities and now live in the country).
    * I am enjoying the time I get to spend with DP as 'just' a couple and am trying to cherish these last few days/weeks of 'our' routine before the baby arrives.

Oh I didn't realise there was so much! Thanks for reading. I feel much better now.

What else are you still loving in the late stages of pregnancy?

I love feeling baby's movements and I love showing off my bump! I love going shopping for baby and packing all the last minute things for the hospital/arrival. I love looking at his things (ie. crib, hammock, pram, etc) and thinking 'he's going to be in there any day/week now!' I love picturing what he's going to look like. I love my new big bb's And also, I love just spending time with dp and talking about how excited we are.

Good luck Kaz, Dot will be here any time now

~*~ I love all the kicking and movement. Do you ever sleep little one?

~*~ I love my big belly

~*~ I love that we are moving into our new house in just over a month and then I get to make up the baby's nursery

~*~ I love seeing how excited DH is about the baby

~*~ I love the look on my DH's face when he has his hand on my tummy and the baby gives him a big kick

~*~ I love looking at all the baby clothes and things we have already bought

~*~ I love thinking about all the things we still need to buy

~*~ I love that I am not scared or apprehensive about the labour and birth.

~*~ I love that in mere weeks I will have a little baby in my arms to hold and love.

I loved having a big bump. Loved showing off my baby growing. I loved feeling my baby kick, loved not having heartburn (but had indigestion), loved not being in pain, except when I had PGP and swollen feet.

Its seems everyone loves the bump! I do too.
I love how my daughter is so excited about being a big sister and wants to role play it day in day out.. novelty sticks!
I love how good I feel and how radiant I look..
I love how its not up to me to decide when the baby is going to make its debut..
I love how quickly time has flown
I love how Ive only put on half the amount of weight I did with my first pregnancy..
I love how my Fiance is so caring, understanding and nurturing at this moment..
I love setting up the baby things and going shopping for the baby..
I love my new found confidence!

I love the interest that random strangers show in my pregnancy, nothing like a huge belly to get people chatting to you.
I love how my daughter tells everyone that its HER baby and then gets upset if they try and make her believe its a boy(i hope the ultrasound was right when they said girl)
I love wandering into the babies room and just looking around at all the stuff.
I love how my belly gets me out of doing the hard house work like, mowing the lawn.lol
I love that i can totally forget something and everyone justs puts it down to baby brain.
