I had to have a c/s last pregnancy due to pre eclampsia. This pregnancy I have GD with no PE (so far). I am insulin dependent so I have been told that they will induce me between 38 and 39 weeks. The problem is that because of the last c/s they won't use the gel or the drip to induce - only a balloon catheter with AROM. What if it doesn't work???? I will end up with a c/s anyway so I'm wondering if I shouldn't just book it in now and save myself all the stress and hassle. I'm also doing the cord blood storage to add just some extra stress on top (guy has to come from Sydney to collect) Am I an idiot for trying for a vbac with all the complications or should I still try and then accept a c/s if it is needed. This is doing my head in. Please help with some advice
