So thirsty...!

Hi guys,

I'm 38+3 and have suddenly started feeling thirsty all the time. I am drinking 3-4L a day which is very extreme for me. Usually I would be ver lucky to drink 1L. This is obviously causing me to loose more of my very limited sleep as I am needing to wee constantly overnight. The weird thing is that my urine is still yellow.. Not dark yellow but yellow all the same. Do you think this is normal or should I be worried?

I would talk to your Dr or midwife asap as it can be a symptom of gestational diabetes.

Yeah, I thought excessive thirst was a sign of diabetes.

maybe kidney issues if the urine is not clear despite all the fluid. definitely think it is worth checking out wit your care provider.

im the same im so thirsy all the time. i get my results back next tuesday from my midwife.
but she thinks i may have it as my levels dropped to 2.1 (blood pressure) and i had to go to mater hospital monday night as i couldnt breathe, vision blurry and light headed.
the only thing that helped my levels go back up was the glucose they gave me in the ambulance
