Question Sorry TMI but ..... diahorrea @ 28 weeks ????

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone else suffered from diahorrea during their pregnancy. Woke up with it yesterday morning and have been going every since. Is accompanied by cramps but these feel as though they are higher and in my gut/bowel rather than where the baby is.

Couple of questions - what would have caused this - a bug or it is a side effect of pregnancy? How long should it last - I was hoping would be gone today. Should I go to the doctor to get something for it? I was with my OB yesterday for usual visit and had mentioned it. He didn't appear concerned but .... I don't like the fact that its still here today but don't want to appear to be a worry wart over nothing if it normally takes say 3-4 days to go through your system.

If anyone has had previous experiences would love to hear them please.

    Thanks

I have no idea how long it should hang around for, sorry.

From my experience it's all part of being pregnant... I would go from being severly constipated (on meds ect) to having diahorrea in a matter of days. I was a yo-yo for at least the first 20 or so weeks before it settled down a little bit. Even without taking anything for the constipation it would still happen!

I think if you are concerned then ring your hospital, dr or even the chemist for some advice.
