Red face EPO Capsules - What happens to them?

    Strange question coming up...

I've been taking EPO orally and internally. Out of curiosity, I put one in a glass of water to see how long it would take to disolve. I woke up the next morning to find that it had doubled in size and had gone soft and plastic like, but had not disolved (It did burst when I pulled it out of the water).

So, my question is, what happens to them when you insert them? Do they disolve completely with body heat or is it the same as my glass of water test?

I'm terrified that I'll go into labour, they'll do an internal and find a whole heap of plastic capsules. LOL

I thought they dissolved with body heat, and that the outside of the capsule just sort of melted away?

Hmmmm, I don't know. I do know that after the first wee of the morning there's a massive oil slick in the toilet
Also, even when I wore a pad, the oil left impossible stains on my knickers... Now there's something like a pregnancy legacy I'm still experiencing every time I do my washing

ROFL Tracey!!! Your parents are hilarious!!! It is funny though.

I know that the oil comes out, but I'm a little concerned if those capsules melt completely, IYKWIM???

I assumed they melted completely with body heat... but after my little experiment, I'm not so convinced!!!

    Hi Celsie

You know I had the exact same thought when I was pregnant! I was too afraid to insert them because of that reason! So I just took them orally. I was scared if I inserted them and went into labour, my ob would freak out and say "oh my goodness! what HAVE you been putting up there??!!!!"
Anyway, my labour (first baby) only went for 6ish hrs so I think that even just taking it orally helped me...maybe...

    All the best

And congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

Celsie, they disolve completely hun. Yes some of the oil does come back out in the morning but no capsules. Hell, I'd be rattling by the time I had Tehya if that was the case.

Don't stress hun. And good luck.

Tracey. LMAO at your parents. I'm sure they'd love to know that you've shared that with us too. Funny Mummy

    Hi Celsie
Interesting experiment! I thought they'd dissolve pretty quick. Was the water you used cold? I wonder what would happen if it were warm water?

    Hi Celsie
Don’t worry hun they do melt. You do not have just water in your vagina. The inside of your vagina is not still like your glass of water. The inside of your vagina stays warm.

And if the midwife does happen to find one in there she will know what it is and probably not even comment on it
