Is there something not quite right or does he just like it there?

Well ever since like 25 weeks Bubbles has been turning from head down to breech and back again over and over. Between weeks 28-30 he was breech and then went head down again for 6 days. I was sure he would stay because he has had a growth spurt and there is not much room left and he felt comfy. But this morning be went breech again. He is having a lovely time kicking my pelvic floor and head butting my ribs!

Now not that i am worried about him being breech as i can still have a homebirth if he is, my midwife is not worried about that. But i am just wondering why he would be turning breech and back again all the time. Is he not comfy? It's just weird for me as the other 2 kids were head down all the time and engaged from 30 weeks(#2 at 28 weeks).

are you spending more time resting??
he still has some room so might be just having fun!
my mum had problems with us we used to fall out of her pelvis, if she wasnt upright.

im sure sooner or later the wind will change and he will get stuck in the position he will be birthed in.

My bump has been engaged since 27 weeks and I am pretty sure he is still head down bum up. Will know when we see Obs again tomorrow. I would say that you have lots of fluid and he feels comfy enough to move around a bit. Its funny they already have a personality don't they!

I have no answers for you sorry T. But I have a question, how do you know which way bubs is? Just from the kicks etc you can feel? Coz I have no bloody idea. At 28 wks bubs was head down and I think it still is coz kicks are never really low. But I mostly get really big kicks on both sides at the same time. Feels like it's lying acrossways, lol, but I thought it wouldn't fit that way anymore.

Oh im so not worried that he is not engaged. lol its so uncomfy when they are! Feels like walking around with a ball between your legs.

SJ, when bub is head down i feel the kicks up high near my ribs and when he is breech i get kicks only in my pelvis or hips and i can feel his head. Plus last pregnancy i got taught how to feel for bub's position. So i know where the arms, legs, head, back etc are just by feeling around like the midwives do.
