    TMI Warning, brown discharge?

Ok so today I have been off colour, put that down to the stress of moving home and the fact that its also DD2's birthday today.

But then this afternoon, after a quick nap, I have been getting pains, more like number 2 pains really. but pains all the same.

Then I go to the loo and wipe and have brown stained discharge. Is this anything to worry about?? I wiped three times and each time there was discharge with brownish colouring.

The only other thing I can think of was that it had something to do with Dh and I DTD last night??

    What do you think?

Could it just be dried blood? - which I would say is likely from DTD.

Could be from DTD as you said. If your worried give your dr/maternity ward a call.

I'd say staining from DTD as well. That said though, I would recommend going in and being checked by a Dr just to be on the safe side especially given you are having some back end pressure/pain ... some labour pain can be like that and be nothing more than feeling like you need to be a big poo.

It won't hurt to be on the side of caution. Nothing worse than going into prem labour! not saying thats whats happening but if in doubt get checked out.

I agree, good chance it is from DTD. I always had it (not that we did it much). But yeah, give someone a call or get checked out. Always better to over react then not to react at all I say.

Stay put Sprout, you have some growing to do yet

    Thanks ladies,

I was thinking DTD was the culprit but it cant hurt to ask.

I will give the midwife a call in the morning if things are still the same. I rang Dh at work and he's now on call just in case.

Kazzo, DTD is so rare here at the moment, I was sure we had forgotten how to do it, or even what it was. Maybe my body is in shock from it all

im on the lounge now to rest in the hope my body will settle down and its nothing sprout related. Im also thinking an early night may be in order too
