Increased CM after starting EPO capsules orally?

TMI. Of course. I mean, it IS a post about cervical mucous, so what do you expect...! lol

I started EPO capsules orally on Sunday, they are 1000mg ones, at this stage I only take one orally in the morning, just getting things nice and soft and squishy and ready for birth (I'm 32w3d - I started them slightly earlier since I need to birth before 38/39 weeks or the hospital Obs are going to be douche bags and push for a repeat cesarean if my cervix is not 'favourable' for a mechanical induction).

I've noticed a LOT more cervical mucous, I think that's what it is anyway, it doesn't seem to be anything suspicious (although I don't really know what would be suspicious looking, as my membranes ruptured 'early' last time, and labour started from there, so everything was lost in my SROM last time). But it's thin, creamy, yellowish, didn't seem like what people describe as a mucous plug.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in CM after beginning EPO? Or actually, it just occured to me as I was typing that maybe it's just a third trimester thing? I don't remember from last time, LOL, had a few things going on, my third tri from about 34 weeks is a total blur!

It makes sense. EPO is diagnosed by some fertility clinics to increase CM when TTC. I am guessing it would do the same thing when you're UTD
