I just got home from the dr who told me the baby was transverse. Sher seemed to think it was a problem. I thought that bubs still had a bit longer to get into a vertical position (at the moment he/she seems to move around and settle wherever they feel like). Now I am a little bit worried. Has this happened to anyone else?
Don't worry about it - my third baby was transverse at my 28wk appointment and by the next one at 33wks she had turned head down. there wasn't even a hint of worry from my Dr about it either. If you like, go to www.spinningbabies.com for some tips on how to get baby into a better position.
Yep. Toby was switching between breech and transverse right up to 32 weeks when he turned head down.
It's really common for second babies to take a bit longer to go head down, they have a bit more room in there than the first one so they tend to flip around for longer.
I wouldn't worry just yet
My last doctor visit at 27 weeks bubs was transverse and I was pretty upset about the whole transverse thing. I had no high kicks, could barely show, and was plainly worried about her staying like that, and thinking way too far ahead for my time.
Now here I am 29 weeks almost. Had an ultrasound on Tuesday and here was my girl beautifully positioned head down body to the left. I must admit I have been more aware of my posture and do refer to the spinning babies site as refered to above.
