something cold and sugary, changing positions, sitting in the sun with your top off (think its simialr to the torch idea) and I've found if I accidentally sit my laptop on my tummy baby hates it and I get kicks (which is good I know having my laptop on my tummy cant be good for baby!)

Sitting on the couch, with my feet on the coffee table.

Salt and vinegar chips and chocolate always work (shame ) and any icey cold drink - usually lemonade or OJ

Lying down with a sugary icy cold drink. I had one time when it didn't work for over 30 mins and worried me. Have you had a decrease in movements hun?? Bub could be getting ready to arrive and resting up but if you are worried and haven't felt usual movements I would call your hospy.

I agree with the others, cold things, although icey-poles seemed to work the best and I would need to eat 2 or 3.

Same as the girls, laying down with an ice cold drink.

Feel free to come jump on the girls tramp to see if that works

Floating in a nice cool bath worked for me too.

2nd all the above advise but I also put the cup which I had been drinking my icy drink from on my tummy. It was freezing but she didnt like it and soon got the boot of disapproval

Please go to get a check if you are concerned, the hospital doesn't mind, and certainly better than you stressing about it

At that stage for me, having avoided caffeine my entire pregnancy and while I was BFing DD (so no caffeine for more than 2 years!) I drank a glass of Coke and then lay down quietly. It worked for me.

I didn't realise you were so close to meeting your LO - looking forward to your BA

icy cold drinks or pressing on my belly. actually, if i lie next to DS that always gets the baby going. and most of the time if i stop & lie down that gets it going as well.

maybe bub is conserving some energy at the moment?

I think its time to get into the BIRTH WARRIOR ZONE(Copyright of Sunny09 hunni!
This is the chance you take to prepare your mind.

To make baby move a little, I used to have raspberry leaf tea, a few mouthfuls of coke (watch for heartburn) or give the belly a great big poke!

Like I said first off though, get ready. Thinking of you you AMAZING FREAKIN' AWESOME HIPPY GODDESS!!! xxxxxxx

How are you doing, hun? TBH my DD2 was quiet for about a week before birth. Call your m/w if you're worried.
