Cool Two bricks and a Duck

OK So I am 36 weeks now.
I have had a very very easy third pregnancy. Rather uneventful and quite energetic. I've been lucky.
Last two weeks I've started to get very tired, which is understandable considering I have two other children and I'm still working.
And this weekend just gone, something has suddenly clicked and it's all gotten a bit uncomfortable.
I have the feeling that there are two lovely bricks sitting atop my bladder all the time. They squirm and poke me and squish me and make me feel like I have to wee lots, which I do. And now I really do walk like a bloody duck. A slow, waddly, big fat duck.
I cannot possibly have to endure this for another four weeks?????????????
Has anyone else got anything similar going on? Or an explanation?
For what it's worth, I had an OB appt 5 days ago and baby was definitely not engaged then, and while his head is down, it wasn't down low apparently.
Wondering if it's possible that he's engaged now, although I wasn't expecting this to happen in a 3rd pregnancy til labour. And is this how it's going to be til the end now because the baby's just too big and all my bits are tired!?
Pass the chocolate. I need a break.

I hear you on the duck thing... just wait 'til baby engages fully and you're swaying like a drunken yeti!

Ugh, I know the feeling, though the bladder thing started at around 32wks - Good luck with the last 4! I know I usually need it

I remember that with Emily, expect she was engaged for about 4 weeks before labour started! So frustrating (the theory that babies don't engage until labour is BS BTW )

    Hi there,

I am 37 weeks pregnant with no 2 and I am feeling the same way. Bub is head down but not sure if she is engagged. My DD was breech so I didn't experience it with that pregnancy. I keep getting really sharp pains down low, when the baby presses down, and I feel like I can't walk properly. Hopefully we wont have too much longer to wait. Good luck xx
