    UTI?

What does a UTI feel like? Especially in pregnancy. I've never had one. I am currently experiencing a burning and stinging sensation in what feels like my bladder. When the baby pushes on it it's a different kind of uncomfortable than usual. But there is no burning or stinging when I pee.

What could it be? A UTI?

    UTI?

Not sure, but I was thinking along the same lines last night. Was getting quite uncomfortable down low & thought maybe it was bladder/bowel getting squished, maybe uti. But today seems ok, now I'm wondering if baby moved & was just putting pressure on down there. Like you say above, it's a different kind of uncomfortable than I've had before. Only comfortable position I found was getting on all fours to relieve pressure.

I've had a uti before, it was achey down low, with some shooting like pains. Also had burning when peeing too. I even got a bit of blood in urine at the time. Full works. Maybe if it continues, get a pee test at your next ob/gp appt? Hope it's just more pregnancy aches & pains, uti's aren't fun. Xx

Thank you Andie I seem to be ok today too. Maybe it was just the baby in a different position. Uti doesn't sound very pleasant though either. Hope you don't ever get one again!

I would have thought there were more women on here who had experienced a UTI before....

I think it is bubbie pushing on a full bladder. I too have that sting when she pushes on it but have no burning wen peeing.

    Re: UTI?

Yeah probably just bub. I get uncomfortable sort of 'pangs' of stingy pressure sometimes when I think he pushes on my bladder. Some days he just seems to put more pressure on down low. This might be common sense but I try to make sure I fully empty when I wee - mum says it helps

I have had a mild uti before but not during pregnancy. I imagine it being bloody awful though.

Thanks ladies, no stinging today so maybe it was just bub or bladder not empty enough. I will keep an aye on it though
