    Swollen "bits" - way TMI

This is really embarrassing to ask but has anyone at any point in their pg found that their vagina ( out side) is swollen up for a day or so or feels pressure in that area when they squat down. My Ob wasn't worried about this but it just feels strange. I know some swelling is normal but it is just a day here and there or a pressure feeling when I squat down for any length of time.

Would appreciate anyone who could tell me if they had anything similar.

yep - me too, although i had read about it before i noticed it, so i was ready!! i checked it all out with a mirror too cause it also said you will look purple down there (but i didnt LOL).

Its nothing to worry about - in fact it is one of the reason sex is so good when you are pg!!!

I didn't 'do' the mirror thing - I was too scared! I FELT purple, so I was pretty sure it woulda' looked like it too! LOL

It's good to know that we're all doing/have done the same thing.

You know what's TRULY scary??? Is when you're trying to shave your swollen purple girly bits (*L*) and you use the wrong side of the double-sided mirror - the side that you'd use to check out the pores on your face! *L* It's like a frickin' magnifying glass!
