Slow Movements then Braxton Hick = Crazy Baby?

okay so bub has been pretty quiet this morning, had only felt a few extremely light movements, perhaps he's changed positions... so I decided to kick count... and I got two in the hour... perhaps hes sleeping... anyway I decided to wait a bit more to see if things increase as the midwifes have always said two hours - 10 kicks... THEN...

I get this huge braxton hick, longest, strongest I have felt... baby moves like crazy once things ease off... have since had another braxton hick and no movements since the crazy one... is it normal for him to go back to sleep afterward one and not wake for the second (wasn't as strong)

I am so sorry for all my questions... I feel like I know NOTHING...

Not to sure, but maybe it's worth giving the midwife a ring just to be sure.

As far as I understand, BH comes from the uterus and not the baby so I wouldnt be worried if baby slept through a BH.

I have the laziest and most comfy baby in the world atm I think LOL. No kicks, no pokes, just curled up in it's little odd position and rolls over occasionally (or what I assume is rolling over becuase the legs change sides). It sleeps aaaallllll day, then rolls over in the evening.

At our gestation (34/35 weeksish) I think the babies are meant to be settling down and moving a bit less, is that right? I have def noticed mine doing pretty much nothing most of the time.

I've given the midwife a call and they said that his strong movement with the first Braxton was reassuring however I was welcome to come in a get monitored or I could give it a few more hours. So I believe the plan of attack is to go out and do something... maybe he doesn't feel like moving cause I'm having an easy day and if I'm still worried in a hour to pop in.

Might go have lunch with my husband as that's in town and see what bub does... as the cold water and something sweet then laying down didn't really do much...

I'm such a worry wart this pregnancy... kinda feel bad about it :-(

I was told that the movements in general don't stop just the type of movements, ie rolling and pushing rather than kicking and punching... not as much room in there to get a good swing in that punch!

How were movements yesterday? I know this little feller was moving like mad last night but has been pretty quite all day so far. A few movements that feel like he is just adjusting himself a bit but nothing much. But for how active he was last night, I would say he pretty sleepy today LOL.

He was pretty calm and quite yesterday and last night too actually.

Certainly miss the huge movements I was getting a week ago. They certainly reassured you things were all good.
