39 weeks today - I think baby just turned sideways......

I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some advice.

I'm 39 weeks today and heading for a VBAC, bubs has been in perfect position for months now.
However last night I had some major movements and now I think bubs has turned sideways from what I can figure.

My next middie appointment isn't until next wednesday (one day before due date).
I know if baby stays this way, it will be another ceasar for sure.

Should I call the clinic and make a closer appointment to have midwife check position and maybe turn baby if needed, or should I just wait until wednesday and hope bubs turns back by itself again?

Ooh how exciting that you're so close now hun!! I would call the midwife to move the app. closer in case they can do something if the bub moved like you say, so you can still have a good chance at a VBAC. GL hun!!

Definitely give midwives a call. My midwife says she knows a massage that the partner can do that will encourage a breech or posterior (and I'm sure transverse) baby to turn. If all else fails, an Ob might be able to do an ECV?

Also, check out the spinning babies website!! (google it) for exercises you can do to help turn bub. Good luck

Bub did another great big move last night and is now back to up and down (hopefully head down).
I'm going to give the MW a call this arvo, so wish me luck.
