Question when did you wash babies things?

    Hey!

Just wondering when everyone pre-washed their newborn baby clothes?

I don't know why but I feel more "ancy" to get it all done early this time, but worried if I do it all now they will just need re-washing by the time he's born. Hell! I havn't even packed my labour bag yet, and Im 33 weeks pregnant. (doing that this weekend). With my 1st I didnt bother until 3 weeks before my due date for the labour bag and washing babies things.

Is anyone else getting in as early as me or am I just getting impatient and too early to do everything?

I think I had about 6 weeks to go when I washed everything and packed my bags, it was so exciting to see all those little things on the line!

I washed things as I had a full load but next baby around I won't wash the clothes in case they don't get worn and they will be more likely to sell on ebay or I can re-gift them

I'm planning on washing most things tomorrow & I'll only be 30 weeks Once bubs room is set up (which I am finishing tomorrow) is when I wanted to get it all done. Considering last time I arranged & rearranged, washed & rewashed all the baby clothes I think it's fine

I'll wash when I'm about 36 weeks. I'm getting my house in order ATM and that is my last job to do. Just finished rearranging my pantry and bathroom cupboards!

I started washing clothes at 33-34 weeks. I am leaving for the city to wait until I have my bub later in the week so needed to be organised. If it is things you know you will use it is ok to wash it now, at least some will be done and can go in your hospital bag. Besides if you are wanting to do it and feel like it, do it now, that way you can rest later.

Thanks for an idea! I really thought I was jumping the gun a little, but I suppose if its going to keep a pregnant woman happy mingling through all the little weeny baby clothes and things, then who cares about having to possibly re-wash!

I picked out the smaller sizes, so Im not washing everything yet just what I will need in the first few days/weeks really. I am soooo clucky! hehe good thing Im pregnant, and havnt got long to goooo
