    Does the heat/dehydration affect BH?

Last night they kept waking me up, and it was so hot, I seemed to be getting really dehydrated because I would wake up really thirsty, even though every time I woke up I drank water... just wondered if the heat or perhaps being dehydrated was making them worse. They are a bit more noticeable and painful right now, or is that just because it's getting close?

Sasha, I honestly don't know if there is a medical explanation for it, but I had exactly what you describe when I was in my 3rd tri with Lexie......she was born in September so it wasn't even that hot, but I DID notice that if I was dehydrated/thirsty, that BH/twinges etc were stronger..........

Dehydration definitely makes BH worse. Usually if you're complaining of contractions the first thing you will be asked is whether you have been drinking enough water....so drink up
