Now can i have this baby ? please....

OK this is an addition from the other thread :

Just a recap I have been in and out of labour and it has stalled twice because of stress i have been recieving from my very attention seeking 68yr old mum.... who wanted to come and help me with my 28 mth old so i could relax ..... what a bloody joke.

Today all labour that i had yesterday had disappeared YET again and again it wasnt helped due to my mum who today decided that as it is such a slow process she needs to get home (up in country) to pay bills (yes a pathetic excuse i know) but she wanted to return...so why leave in the first place yes we asked that too in our heads. So today we pre planned our babysitter and friend to be on ds2 standby and then i decided to tell mum calmly 'if you want to go home mum thats fine as we have eileen as back up so you do what you need to do and we will ring you when it is action stations at the hospital' with that she said 'ok thats sounds good ill just have a shower and packed my things and head off' I was still in a bit of pain but i tried hard not to show it . So i went for a walk rang eileen had a cry with frustration more than anything organised with her with ds2 and then walked inside .... dh is home thank god and i said out loud to him ' mum its all sorted eileen said she will mind ds2 from today onwards if we would like (i winked at dh as it was a little lie)' mum piped up and said 'i can come back ' i said ' i actually need the house to be kid free i feel to get me really into labour mode' with that though mum grabbed her keys and huffed and puffed and walked out the front door .... BUT as i didnt follow her but dh did she told scott outside 'mm i dont know why she is having another baby when she wants to get rid of them WTF' Dh said 'thats your opinion and i dont thing 'a' said that as i was there but oh well have a safe drive home '

OMG what mother does that or says that or acts so selfish when their daughter is having a baby ....

Anyway on a positive note im losing more and more show and now i can feel it and it is stringy yay so im guessing the cervix is dilated another cm overnight YAY

Oh another thing i heard her say to a friend on the phone 'dont know why it is taking forever as this is her 3rd ' as we have explained it is taking awhile as this is my first natural birth without induction DERR !

    EEEk,

Sorry to hear your mum is doing this. I know the feeling. My mum is much the same..........luckily she lives in another state and I rarely have to deal with her.

Hope you can get on with the birthing buisness now that she's not around.
